The "Aegis, LE" is the latest iteration of our Aegis belt; the Gen2 buckle is made from glass-filled nylon, resulting in increased corrosion resistance, decreased weight, increased convenience when traveling via commercial airline, and a decreased price from the Gen1. The Aegis belt is 1.5" wide, and is composed of 2 layers of scuba webbing (2 color choices), plus an outer layer of loop tape, which creates a solid connection with any hook-lined outer belt.
All components are made here in the USA (webbing, thread, loop tape, and all parts of the buckle), and we sew them together at our shop in Central Ohio.
