The Aegis Enhanced belt is 1.5" wide and 0.21" thick, and is composed of 2 layers of our proprietary scuba webbing, with an added layer of 1.5" thin colored webbing on the outside.
This is our newest version of the Aegis buckle, made from 50% glass-filled nylon for improved corrosion resistance, reduced weight, and reduced cost. The rod/screws are cut from stainless steel.
All components are made here in the USA (webbing, thread, and all parts of the buckle), and we sew them together at our shop in Columbus, Ohio.

BLACK AND COYOTE BROWN ARE NOW AVAILABLE AS THE GEN2.1 AEGIS. Due to a change at the webbing mill, the new webbing is slightly thicker and substantially stiffer, which means a Gen2.1 Aegis is as stiff as a Gen2 Aegis Enhanced. Therefore, there is no reason to upcharge the customer for an Aegis Enhanced with Black or Coyote Brown webbing.
